The Royal Mint have released a series of five 50p coins to commemorate the life and works of Beatrix Potter. The other coins in the series feature the 150th Anniversary of the Birth of Beatrix Potter, Squirrel Nutkin, Peter Rabbit and Mrs Tiggy-Winkle.
The Tale of Jemima Puddle-Duck was published in July, 1908. It tells the story of the naive Jemima, and her interaction with Mr Tod, a fox plotting to eat her.
Mintage for the 2016 Jemima Puddle Duck 50p circulation coin that you will find in your change is 2,100,000.
