“It was a really simple service and the goods arrived in a matter of days. This was a referral from the Goldsmith in Harrogate called IIanson. They were honest enough to tell us about Chards and between the two of them, its been a brilliant experience.”

“I have been a customer of another well known company and had a poor experience so I decided to hunt around for an alternative supplier. That happened to be Chards. being an investor I wanted the Krugerrand at the cheapest price. So the low margin of 0.75 was a plus and Chards were offering the coin at a good purchase price. Everything is up front like the postage. Well packed and it arrived the next working day by Royal Mail special delivery. A small issue I wanted to pay in cash which the site said I could pay the money in to a Nat Westminster bank - not so. I ended up paying the cash in my own bank and paying using my debt card. I had to provide to Hillery the were I had found that as she said the Chards did not accept cash except at the store. it just waste a few hours having to take it to the branch near me to pay it in. Not a good point and I have deducted one star for the aggravation Chards caused me. I went on to buy 2 more Krugerrands from Chards and a couple of silver coins I am waiting for the silver coins to arrive. ( 1 oz Coins) the second purchase went much more smoother. Will I buy from them again, yes. The site is large perhaps to large but bags of information available. The coin was in great condition. .I hope Chards read and takes action to deal with a situation that cost them a star.”
