These coins are mixed dates, being struck between 1871 to 1887. Each coin is 22ct gold and as legal tender pound sterling coins, they are exempt from capital gains tax. They are also VAT free.

Although these coins are classified as bullion, the coin you receive may be in a better than bullion condition.

This coin comes loose and you can add a 22.2mm capsule, presentation case or gift box to your order in the basket.

William Wyon, the chief engraver of the Royal Mint at the time, designed the "young head" coinage portrait of Queen Victoria. It shows Victoria at only 18 years of age, when she acceded to the throne and became Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.

Reverse

Benedetto Pistrucci's St George and the Dragon design is featured on the reverse of the coins.
