The 2015 Australian Kangaroo one tenth ounce uncirculated gold coin is struck in 0.9999 fineness, 24 carat gold. These bullion coins are sold as an investment product.

The coins are also referred to as 'nuggets'. From 1986 until 1989, a variety of famous Australian gold nuggets were pictured on the reverse. In 1989, the design was changed to feature kangaroos instead of nuggets, probably because they are thought to be more synonymous with Australia.

The Perth Mint in Australia are renowned for their beautiful designs and high quality finishes on their coins. These coins come in a capsule which protects the coin.

Obverse

The Ian Rank-Broadley's fourth definitive coin portrait of Queen Elizabeth II is shown on the obverse with the inscription ELIZABETH II AUSTRALIA·15 DOLLARS·

Reverse

The reverse shows a kangaroo, bounding across the Australian outback with the moon in the background. The mint mark P for Perth is located on the right of the coin by the tail. The reverse bears the inscription AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO at the top, with 2015 1/10oz 9999 GOLD at the base.

Once you place an order, you cannot cancel it. We do not currently accept returns, however. You may be able to sell your investment products back to Chards at the current buy back rate.
