The 2004 Kangaroo Nugget Coin depicts a mum and baby kangaroo bounding to the left. The Reverse was designed by Louise Pinder. There are estimated to be over 40 million of the iconic animal in Australia, there are various species of the kangaroo but the Red Kangaroo is the most common and largest.

The coin had an issue limit of 350,000, with a declared total mintage of 61,278 coins.

Obverse

The obverse features the 4th portrait of Queen Elizabeth II facing right. Designed by Ian Rank Broadley.

Ian-Rank Broadley and depicts her majesrsty wearing the girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara. Also, the coin bears a legend that reads as:

ELIZABETH II· AUSTRALIA· 100 DOLLARS

Reverse

The reverse ,designed by Louise Pinder, depicts two bounding kangaroos, An adult kangaroo and a baby kanagaroo (joey).

Additionally, the inscription of the coin reads as:

Cancellations & Returns:
Once you place an order, you cannot cancel it. We do not currently accept returns, however. You may be able to sell your investment products back to Chards at the current buy back rate.
