1973 Isle of Man Gold Uncirculated Sovereign 4 Coin Set

1973 Isle of Man 4-Coin Sovereign Set - Uncirculated

This stunning set was issued by The Pobjoy Mint on behalf of The Isle of Man. There were no British sovereigns issued in 1973, making this set particularly appealing to collectors.

The sovereign set contains a quintuple sovereign, double sovereign, sovereign and half sovereign coin, all struck to an uncirculated finish.

These Manx sovereigns are struck in 22-carat gold. The set contains just over two troy ounces of gold.

Only 2,500 sets issued.

Bullion coins are provided as is and on occasion may have some minor scratches or edge knocks. These are not regarded as faulty or damaged goods as their precious metal content and value as a bullion coin is not affected. Any coin sold for a value less than a 180% intrinsic is considered a bullion coin.

Gold investment products are VAT free. Silver investment products are inclusive of VAT at the current rate unless otherwise stated.

All investment products are based on the live precious metal price. Prices will be fixed once the item has been added to the basket and recalculates just before checking out.

If your product is not a graded coin and is considered a bullion item it should be noted that these are bought and sold on low premiums over their precious metal content and not solely for aesthetic purposes, therefore some products may have edge knocks and/or marks. These edge knocks and marks do not alter the specifications of the coins.

Please note that all investment products are exempt from the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and therefore customers do not have the right to cancel their order once the order has been accepted. If customers no longer wish to go ahead with their investment purchase, there is an option to sell the products back to Chard (1964) Ltd instead. View our current buy back prices.

“Happy with purchase and couldn't fault the company's communication throughout. However, purchased several coins of which one was a preorder. Had to wait for this one coin to come in before order could be sent without incurring further postage costs. This was explained, but not at time of purchase. Overall, good service. Many thanks.”

“I was seeking a special edition "sold out at The Mint" coin, that had been released a year earlier, and I located the coin as being available from Chards. I ordered & made payment immediately on the Saturday, receiving confirmation of order. The following Monday I received Sales receipt. On the Wednesday I received Notification of Despatch on Thursday (with tracking link). Good Friday & Easter Sunday, Bank Holiday Monday, all came & went. I now felt & imagined I was dealing with Gringotts Bank (Harry Potter fiction), such was my impatience & frustration. On Tuesday a special delivery parcel... Read More”
