Issued in 1878 during Queen Victoria's reign of England (1837-1901).

 This coin has been given MS-65 based upon the Sheldon Grading System the recommended price for this coin from NGC is currently £400. 

This coin contains the die number 21 at the bottom of the reverse side of the coins design and has a milled edge.

What is a Die Number?

A die number is used to identify the die that has been used to produce the coin. Die numbers were first introduced during Queen Victoria's reign in 1863 after tests by the Royal mint and today can be found on a wide range of gold/silver coins from 1863-80.

MS-65 Grade

A MS-65 grade means a coin that has been well struck with moderate marks or hairlines. This MS-65 coin was graded by the NGC as the sixth highest numeric grade based upon the Sheldon Grading 1-70 system.
