Obverse

The writing on the obverse should read 'VOLISIOS' between the lines running across the coin. At the top left of this coin part of a ring of pellets can be seen. Just under this on the top row of writing part of a 'V' can be seen followed by an 'O' then on the right of the wreath an 'L' can be seen, on the line underneath an 'O' can be seen. On the bottom line on the left of the wreath an 'SI' can be seen. There is a scratch inbetween the S and the I

The wreath runs perpendicularly over the 3 lines. The wreath is sometimes described as brick like leaves.

Reverse

The reverse shows a horse facing left. The inscription starts where the two ears of the horse go out to the edge of the coin. The lettering can be seen that says 'DVM' around the edge. The tail of the horse then meets the edge, after this the lettering says 'NOCO'. After the front legs of the horse meet the edge of the coin the lettering reads VEROS. The total legend reads DVMNOCOVEROS.

There is a ring / triangular arrangement of three gold pellets just below the head of the horse.
