Paris Mint

The Monnaie de Paris, also known as the Paris Mint is the world's oldest mint. Established in 864, the French national mint continues to produce high quality circulation coinage, medallions and commemorative coins.

European Parliament

These medallions were produced for MEPs who have served 25 years in the European Parliament.

Obverse

The obverse displays a reproduction of a third century ancient Greek coin from Tyre, featuring a standing figure of Europa and a Cretan bull and the legend:

COLTVRO MET ΕΝ Ρω ΠΗ

Reverse

"European Parliament" is engraved in eleven languages in three concentric circles.

The individual recipient's name Anne PENONE is hand engraved horizontally in the centre of the reverse.

There is a hallmark, HF for Huguenin Freres of Le Locle Switzerland. The presentation box describes them as Medailleurs.

VAT:
Investment gold products are VAT-free, while silver products include VAT.
Cancellations & Returns:
Once you place an order, you cannot cancel it. We do not currently accept returns, however. You may be able to sell your investment products back to Chards at the current buy back rate.
