The Queen Elizabeth II Royal Sovereign Collection contains 21 sovereigns, all struck during her reign. The dates of the coins range from 1957 to 2003.
This stunning set was issued in 2003 as a special tribute to Her Majesty the Queen on the 50th anniversary of her Coronation.
The bullion coins are struck from 22 carat gold and come housed in a beautiful wooden presentation case, along with a certificate of authenticity.
Only 1,500 of these collections were issued.
Please note: the outer wooden boxes may show some signs of wear and tear.
The obverse designs vary depending on the date. They include the Mary Gillick, Arnold Machin and Ian Rank-Broadley coinage portraits of Queen Elizabeth II.
The dates of the coins are 1957, 1958, 1959, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1974, 1976, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2003.
The 2002 coin features a special shield design on the reverse. It was designed by Timothy Noad and issued to celebrate Elizabeth II's Golden Jubilee.
The rest of the coins feature the iconic St George and the Dragon as designed by Benedetto Pistrucci. This has been used on most modern sovereigns since their introduction in 1817.
