One of only 200 sets issued, this gold proof sovereign set commemorates the 200th anniversary of the birth of Queen Victoria.

This set consists of 5 sovereign-denominated coins which feature some of the most renowned reverse designs that appeared on Victoria's coinage:

Una and the Lion (quintuple sovereign),

the gothic Crown (double sovereign),

the shield as seen on the last of Victoria's silver half-crowns (sovereign),

Pistrucci's George slaying the dragon (half sovereign),

and the seated Britannia from the 1860 copper pennies, half-pennies and farthings. 

Obverse

The obverse of all 5 coins bear Jody Clark's portrait of HM Queen Elizabeth II.

Reverse

The reverse of these coins show some of the most renowned designs of British coins that appeared during Queen Victoria's reign.

  • Cancellations & Returns:

    Once you place an order, you cannot cancel it. We do not currently accept returns, however. You may be able to sell your investment products back to Chards at the current buy back rate.
