These silver bullion coins have proven to be very popular with collectors and investors alike. Issued by the People's Republic of China, the 30 gramme coin has a face value of 10 Yuan.

They each contain 30g (0.965 troy ounces) of 999 fine silver, and are issued by the People's Bank of China in protective capsules.

Minty coins are our hand-picked selection of pre-owned bullion coins that are in good condition and usually, but not always, have been minted in recent years. We consider these coins closer to mint condition than others, but please note this is not a traditional grade.

Metric or Troy Weights?

Most major global mints issue coins in imperial weights, however, the People's Bank of China use metric weights. They changed their bullion coins over to the metric system in 2016.

Collectable Coins

Demand for the Chinese Panda is not limited to the home market in China. Collectors eagerly await the release of Pandas each year and older issues are highly prized.

The obverse features the historic Temple of Heaven in Peking and the year date.

Reverse

The panda design will vary depending on which year is issued.

These may have minor scratches or edge knocks, but this does not affect their value. Any coin sold for a value less than a 180% intrinsic is considered a bullion coin.
VAT:
Investment gold products are VAT-free, while silver products include VAT.
Cancellations & Returns:
Once you place an order, you cannot cancel it. We do not currently accept returns, however. You may be able to sell your investment products back to Chards at the current buy back rate.
