What are the Royal Tudor Beasts?

The Royal Tudor Beasts are a series of heraldic statues that stand on the Moat Bridge at Hampton Court Palace. Commissioned by King Henry VIII following his marriage to Jane Seymour in 1536, the beasts represent the ancestry, alliances and legitimacy of the Tudor dynasty.

The Royal Tudor Beasts collection was developed in collaboration with Historic Royal Palaces, helping to bring the history and significance of the Hampton Court Palace beasts to collectors and enthusiast.

Proof coins are specially produced to a much higher standard of finish than bullion coins, with multiple strikes for a highly-detailed design. These coins are not graded by condition but are instead defined by their method of production.
