History of the Gold Buffalo Bullion Coins

To compete with other world mints, the US Mint produced their American Buffalo series, their first 24-carat (also known in American English as karat) gold coin, with a legal tender value of $50.

The Buffalo coin is also believed to be modelled after "Black Diamond," a popular attraction at the New York Zoological Gardens. The obverse and reverse designs were taken from the 1913 Buffalo Nickel.

VAT:
Investment gold products are VAT-free, while silver products include VAT.
Cancellations & Returns:
Once you place an order, you cannot cancel it. We do not currently accept returns, however. You may be able to sell your investment products back to Chards at the current buy back rate.
