Who Is James Bond?

James Bond is a British Spy whose agent codename is 007. He is known as the world's greatest spy and womaniser. At the time of writing this there are 25 films in the franchise, with the most recent release being "No Time to Die".

James Bond Popularity in the 2000's

The 2000's James Bond films featured Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig as 007. The following titles were as follows:

  • Die Another Day (2002)
  • Casino Royale (2006)
  • Quantum of Solace (2008)

What Is Capital Gains Tax?

Capital Gains Tax (CGT) is a form of levies imposed on the profit garnered from the sale of assets, such as real estate, investments, and collectibles. In the United Kingdom, the present CGT allowance is £3,000 per annum per individual, which implies that one can earn up to £3,000 from the sale of assets prior to being subject to CGT.

For UK residents, bullion coins which are UK legal tender pound sterling coins are exempt from capital gains tax (CGT).

Obverse

The obverse of the coin features the uncrowned portrait of King Charles III by Martin Jennings.

This coin bears a legend on the obverse.

CHARLES III · D · G · REX · F · D · 100 POUNDS ·

Reverse

The reverse features the iconic hovercraft, with James Bond seated inside.

Additionally, the coin showcases the iconic gun barrel sequence from the James Bond films. This sequence, which appears at the beginning of many Bond movies, creates the sensation of being in the crosshairs of a gun, setting a dramatic tone for the thrilling adventure that follows.

In the centre of the crosshair, behind the hovercraft, is a repeated list of all the James Bond films released in the 2000s. The legendary 007 logo is also prominently displayed below.
