Mexican Gold Coins

In 1921, Mexico became one of the earliest countries to issue a 1-ounce gold bullion coin, preceding all others in this regard.

Throughout this period, several different designs have been used. Additionally, the Libertad was also issued in a two-ounce coin format.

Obverse

The obverse design will vary depending on the coin issued. All coins feature a depiction of the Monumento a la Independencia statue in downtown Mexico City.

Reverse

The reverse shows the coat of arms of Mexico. The specific design will vary depending on the coin issued.

VAT:
Investment gold products are VAT-free, while silver products include VAT.
Cancellations & Returns:
Once you place an order, you cannot cancel it. We do not currently accept returns, however. You may be able to sell your investment products back to Chards at the current buy back rate.
