Authentication Feature

The reverse of each 2024 koala silver coin incorporates a security feature in the form of a micro-laser engraved letter within the coin's design, which can only be detected when viewed under a magnifying glass.

P125 Mintmark

To commemorate the 125th anniversary of The Perth Mint, these coins bear the mintmark 'P125.'

Obverse

The obverse shows a depiction of His Majesty King Charles III, designed by Dan Thorne, and is inscribed with the following inscription:

Reverse

The reverse features a design of a koala clinging to a gum tree branch, as designed by Ing Ing Jong. Above the Koala is the inscription 'KOALA', accompanied by The Perth Mint's P125 mintmark, as well as the coin's weight, purity, and year date.
