This is the 2022 Henry VII 5 oz Silver Proof Coin from the Royal Mint. These historic coins celebrate the first Tudor king and are the first release in the Royal Mint's new British Monarchs Collection!

The reverse of these coins is based on Alexander of Bruchsal's original designs, and show Henry VII as he appeared on the coinage of the time.

Struck from 999 fine silver, these proof coins weigh 156.3g and have a diameter of 65mm. Each coin comes displayed in a presentation box, accompanied by an informational booklet about the King. It also comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity from the Royal Mint.

Alexander of Bruchsal was a die engraver and medalist, who created the coin dies for Henry VII. The reverse of this coin was transposed from his original designs. It features a crowned King Henry VII facing right.
