2021 Kangaroo One Ounce Gold Bullion Coin. This Australian coin is struck from 99.99% fine gold (24 carat) and contains one troy ounce of the precious metal.

These coins come in plastic Perth Mint capsules.

Unlike the rest of the 2021 Gold Kangaroo Series, the 1 oz coins do not have a limited mintage figure. Instead, the coins will be issued on an unlimited basis, meaning the mint will continue to produce the coins throughout 2021. Once production has ceased, they will release the mintage figures.

Kangaroos or Nuggets

The kangaroo coins originally featured famous gold nuggets on their reverse. In 1990 this changed to show kangaroos. For this reason the coins may be referred to as 'nuggets', 'kangaroos' or 'roos'.

Obverse

The obverse bears the Jody Clark Australian coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The legend reads:

Reverse

Designed by Natasha Muhl, the reverse features a kangaroo crouching amongst some Kangaroo Paw and Waratah plants. The Perth Mint 'P' mint mark can be found to the left of the kangaroo.

Cancellations & Returns:
Once you place an order, you cannot cancel it. We do not currently accept returns, however. You may be able to sell your investment products back to Chards at the current buy back rate.
