The sovereign is issued in brilliant uncirculated condition and was struck on 31st January, 2020, the day the UK withdrew from the European Union.
The Royal Mint have issued a selection of coins to mark the historic event, including brilliant uncirculated and silver proof fifty pence coins.
After the EU Referendum on 23rd June 2016, the UK finally left the European Union on 31st January 2020. The withdrawal date was delayed twice beforehand due to British government requests for extensions to the negotiating process.
The Jody Clark coinage effigy of Queen Elizabeth II appears on the obverse.
The reverse features the iconic St George and the Dragon design by Benedetto Pistrucci.
The crowned portcullis privy mark can be found to the left of the date.
