Winnie the Pooh

A creation from English author A. A. Milne and English illustrator E. H. Shepard, Winnie the Pooh first appeared under his name in 1925, with a children's story commissioned for Christmas Eve by London's Evening News.

The first collection of stories revolving around the beloved bear released all the way back in 1926, in the book going by his namesake, 'Winnie the Pooh'. The stories of Winnie are set in the Hundred Acre Wood, inspired by Ashdown Forest found near Milne's home.

Winnie and his original ensemble of friends were inspired by the real-life collection of toys of A. A. Milne's son, Christopher Robin Milne, who you may recognise as sharing the name of Winnie's human accomplice, Christopher Robin.

Reverse

The reverse features Winnie The Pooh eating honey out of the jar while a bee flies around him.
