This Legend of the Ravens BU £5 coin is the first in a 4-part The Tower of London series.
Each coin in the series features an exclusive Tower of London mint mark on the reverse.
The ravens guard the Tower of London and it's said that if they ever leave, the kingdom and the tower will fall.
At present there are 7 ravens at the tower; the 6 required, plus one spare.
The ravens enjoy a diet of meat and as a treat they're fed biscuits soaked in blood.
The obverse of the coin displays the fifth coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Royal Mint designer, Jody Clark.
The reverse of the coin was designed by the artist, Glyn Davies. The design shows a raven staring, surrounded by the stone walls of the tower.
The Tower of London mint mark appears on the bottom-right of the coin.
