These 2019 Gold Proof 6th Portrait of Queen Elizabeth $200 Coins are produced by the Royal Australian Mint.
This coin was issued to commemorate the end of the usage of Ian Rank-Broadley's fourth portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. It also marks the new era of Australian coinage with the usage of Jody Clark's 6th portrait.
During the 70 year reign of Queen Elizabeth II, Australia saw the use of 6 different portrait designs on the obverses of their coins. These were the following portraits used:
1st Portrait - Mary Gillick (1953-1965)
2nd Portrait - Arnold Machin (1966-1984)
3rd Portrait - Ralph David Maleof (1985-1998)
4th Portrait - Ian Rank-Broadley (1998-2019)
5th Portrait - Vladimir Gotwald (2000) - this obverse design was used to mark the Royal Visit on a circulated 50 cent
6th Portrait - Jody Clark - (2019- )
