The Representation of the People Act passed in 1918. This gave men over the age of 21 (or 19 if they had served in the First World War) and women over the age of 30, who met minimum property qualifications, the right to vote.

The act was seen as a huge step in reforming the electorial system in the UK.

Obverse

The obverse of the coin is the Jody Clark portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. It is the fifth coinage portrait.

Reverse

The reverse was designed by the Royal Mint graphic designer, Stephen Taylor. The design features a queue of people, ready to cast their votes. It includes a soldier, a suffragette and a working class man.

Investment gold products are VAT-free, while silver products include VAT.
Cancellations & Returns:
Once you place an order, you cannot cancel it. We do not currently accept returns, however. You may be able to sell your investment products back to Chards at the current buy back rate.
