One kilo version of the 2017 silver kookaburra coin. The coins are produced by the Perth Mint in Australia. These are sold as an investment product.

The kookaburras are one of the most popular bullion coins, as the design on the reverse changes each year. The coins are struck in 99.9% fine silver and are Australian legal tender.

Obverse

The fourth coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II features on the coin's obverse. It was designed by Ian Rank-Broadley.

Reverse

The reverse shows two kookaburras, perching on a fence.

These may have minor scratches or edge knocks, but this does not affect their value. Any coin sold for a value less than a 180% intrinsic is considered a bullion coin.
VAT:
Investment gold products are VAT-free, while silver products include VAT.
Cancellations & Returns:
Once you place an order, you cannot cancel it. We do not currently accept returns, however. You may be able to sell your investment products back to Chards at the current buy back rate.
