In 2007, the Perth Mint in Australia introduced a new silver bullion coin, the silver Koala. Initially, produced as a one ounce coin, in 2010 they released the Koala in four sizes. The Koala continues to be a best seller with investors looking for quality bullion coins with low premiums. The 2016 one ounce Koala was issued to a maximum mintage of 300,000 coins.

Obverse

The obverse features the Ian Rank-Broadley fourth portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and shows the denomination of $1 Dollar.

Reverse

The reverse features a delightful image of a Koala bear walking along a branch. The coin bears an inscription AUSTRALIAN KOALA 2016 999 SILVER and the P mint mark for the Perth Mint.

Investment gold products are VAT-free, while silver products include VAT.
Cancellations & Returns:
Once you place an order, you cannot cancel it. We do not currently accept returns, however. You may be able to sell your investment products back to Chards at the current buy back rate.
