This coin was issued as part of The Royal Canadian Mint's Predator Series.

Each coin is struck from 99.99% fine silver. Only 1,000,000 of the coins were issued.

Predator Series

The Royal Canadian Mint's Predator series is a four-coin series, which ran from 2016 until 2020.

The coins featured the Cougar, Lynx, Wolf and Grizzly Bear. Each bullion coin had a mintage of just 1,000,000 coins.

Obverse

The obverse bears the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.

Reverse

The reverse was designed the artist, Emily Damstra. It shows a leaping cougar. Radial lines can be seen the background, with the mint's maple leaf mint mark at the bottom. The text reads:

Cancellations & Returns:
Once you place an order, you cannot cancel it. We do not currently accept returns, however. You may be able to sell your investment products back to Chards at the current buy back rate.
