This is the silver proof Squirrel Nutkin 50p. It was produced by the Royal Mint and is the final coin in their 2016 Beatrix Potter series.

Due to limited stock these coins are strictly one coin per household. All other orders will be automatically refunded.

Beatrix Potter 50p Coins

The silver proof version has a 'limited presentation' of 15,000 coins. The coins comes presented in a perspex presentation block and comes in a colourful box.

Mintage for the 2016 Squirrel Nutkin 50p circulation coin that you will find in your change is 5,000,000.

Obverse

The obverse shows the new portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, by Jody Clark.

Reverse

The reverse shows Squirrel Nutkin. It was designed by the Royal Mint engraver, Emma Noble, who has designed the other coins in the series. The silver proof version of the coin is coloured, whereas the uncirculated coin is not.

Once you place an order, you cannot cancel it. We do not currently accept returns, however. You may be able to sell your investment products back to Chards at the current buy back rate.
