The Peter Rabbit coin is the second coin in the Royal Mint's Beatrix Potter 50p series. This brilliant uncirculated coin comes in a presentation folder.
Peter Rabbit was first created in 1893, in a letter that Beatrix Potter sent to an ill child to cheer him up. She named the character after Peter Piper, a pet rabbit she had as a child. Peter is known for sneaking into Mr McGregor's garden and stealing his vegetables.
Peter Rabbit has appeared in 23 stories - the best known being The Tale of Peter Rabbit, which has sold over 150 million copies worldwide!
