In 2015 The Royal Mint issued a £20 to commemorate the milestone event of Elizabeth II becoming Britain's longest reigning monarch. Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II has dedicated her life to the service of the United Kingdom and her subjects. This stunning silver coin displays a combination of the five definitive UK coin portraits of the Queen.

Legal Tender Notes

These coins are British legal tender, however, they cannot be used in shops or banks. These coins were initially sold by The Royal Mint as £20 coins which would be worth £20. Many people bought them from The Royal Mint believing that thy would be a good investment for the future. Whilst we pride ourselves in being cheaper than the mint in most cases, we are unable to source these coins at a discount. We have managed to get a small supply in stock for informational purposes and to photograph. We are offering them for sale but with a premium. This is because we're a business and we don't work for free. We also only have a small supply and therefore will likely not have them in stock long.

Obverse

The obverse of the coin has the fifth definitive UK coin portrait of Her Majesty by Jody Clark. The coin bears the inscription:

Reverse

The reverse design is by artist, Stephen Taylor. It is the first time one of his designs have been used on a coin. The coin shows all five definitive portraits of the Queen, showing how she has matured through her reign. The reverse bears the inscription:

Once you place an order, you cannot cancel it. We do not currently accept returns, however. You may be able to sell your investment products back to Chards at the current buy back rate.
