The 2014 Magnificent Ten Gold Coin Set features 10 x one tenth ounce coins from around the world. Each coin is struck from either .916 (22 carat) or .999 (24 carat) fine gold.

Some of the coins featured include the Australian Lunar Horse, Canadian Maple, Mexican Libertad and the British Britannia.

Each gold coin contains 1/10th of an ounce of gold and would make a great addition to any collection of world coins.

Only 1000 of these sets were issued.

Obverse

The Australian, British and Isle of Man coins feature Ian Rank-Broadley's design of HM Queen Elizabeth II. The other coins feature:

Philharmonic - Assorted musical instruments as designed by Thomas Pesendorfer.

Panda - A chinese panda with a branch.

Libertad - The Mexican Coat of Arms

Maple - Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.

Krugerrand - A depiction of Paul Kruger by Otto Schultz.

Eagle - Lady Liberty by Augustus Saint-Gaudens.

Reverse

The reverse feature different designs on each coin. These designs are:

Lunar Horse - A horse running through a field. It was designed by Tom Vaughan.

Kangaroo - A depiction of a kangaroo standing near a fence looking back toward the bush. Designed by Tom Vaughan.

Philharmonic - A depiction of the pipe organ from the Vienna concert hall. Designed by Thomas Pesendorfer.

Maple - Maple leaf design by the Royal Canadian Mint Engravers.

Panda - The Temple of Heaven. Designed by the China Gold Coin Incorporation (CGCI)

Britannia - A depiction of Lady Britannia

Angel - The Archangel St. Michael.

Libertad - The Victoria Angel of Independence.

Krugerrand - A springbok antelope by Coert Steynberg.

Eagle - A soaring eagle by Miley Busiek.

These may have minor scratches or edge knocks, but this does not affect their value. Any coin sold for a value less than a 180% intrinsic is considered a bullion coin.
VAT:
Investment gold products are VAT-free, while silver products include VAT.
Cancellations & Returns:
Once you place an order, you cannot cancel it. We do not currently accept returns, however. You may be able to sell your investment products back to Chards at the current buy back rate.
