2012 Gold Proof Full Sovereign NGC PF-70 ULTRA CAMEO

These 2012 Elizabeth II Gold Proof Sovereigns were minted by the Royal Mint. The stylised interpretation of St George slaying the dragon appears on the reverse. The special design was sculpted by British Sculptor, Paul Day to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee.

Slabbed and graded by the Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC) as a PF-70 on the Sheldon Scale, the highest grade that a coin can obtain. It is worth noting that these coins are also ULTRA CAMEO which means there is a high level of contrast between the matte and mirror finishes on the design.

Struck in 22 carat gold (0.9167 fineness), contains 0.2354 troy ounces of the precious metal, and weighs 7.98 grams.

These coins are exempt from Capital Gains Tax and are VAT Free.
