The coin is graded MS-70 by PCGS and has also received the 'First Strike' accreditation

MS-70 PCGS Graded - What does it mean?

This coin has been awarded a grading of MS-70 via the PCGS (Professional Coin Grading Service)

To be awarded an MS-70 the coin must be 'fully struck and lustrous, free of visual marks'

PCGS use the internationally recognised 'Sheldon' grading system of 1-70.

The Buffalo has long been one of America's popular coins due to the animals native heritage within the country.

This coin is slabbed as a 'First Strike' meaning that PCGS received the coin within 30 days of the release of the coin.

Obverse

The Obverse of this coin was designed by James Earle Fraser and depicts the 'Indian Head' taken from the original Buffalo Nickel coin, minted from 1913 - 1938.

The Reverse of this coin was also designed by the famous American Sculptor James Earle Fraser.
