2007 Gold Britannia Proof 4 Coin Set | Proof Sets

The 2007 Britannia gold proof four coin set bears the reverse design of a seated Britannia by Christopher Le Brun.

The proof Britannia gold sets are usually released each year in August or later. Britannia proof sets have been issued every year since 1987.

Obverse

The coins in the sets have on the obverse the portrait of the Queen by Ian Rank-Broadley, approved for use on United Kingdom coins from 1998.

Reverse

The reverse of the gold Britannia is a new design for 2007. Royal Artist, Christopher Le Brun has created a new image of Britannia seated with a lion by her side. The image of Britannia is similar to that on the Victorian farthings.

These may have minor scratches or edge knocks, but this does not affect their value. Any coin sold for a value less than a 180% intrinsic is considered a bullion coin.
VAT:
Investment gold products are VAT-free, while silver products include VAT.
Cancellations & Returns:
Once you place an order, you cannot cancel it. We do not currently accept returns, however. You may be able to sell your investment products back to Chards at the current buy back rate.
