MS-70 NGC Graded - What does it mean?

This coin has been awarded a grading of MS-70 via the NGC (Numismatic Gaurenty Company)

The NGC are a company based in Sarasota, Florida. Founded in 1987.

They began using the internationally accepted 'Sheldon' grading system of 1-70. This was first used in the 40's in the USA.

MS-70 - 'A coin with no post-production imperfections at 5x magnification.'

The Buffalo has long been one of America's popular coins due to the animals native heritage within the country.

Obverse

The Obverse of this coin was designed by James Earle Fraser and depicts the 'Indian Head' taken from the original Buffalo Nickel coin, minted from 1913 - 1938.

The legend above the Indian head reads:

The Reverse of this coin was also designed by the famous American Sculptor James Earle Fraser.

The design features a large Buffalo facing to the left.

Once you place an order, you cannot cancel it. We do not currently accept returns, however. You may be able to sell your investment products back to Chards at the current buy back rate.
