Silver Maples

Following the success of the maple leaf gold bullion coins introduced in 1979, the Royal Canadian Mint started in 1988 to produce a one ounce silver maple leaf coin.

As with the gold version which are struck in fine gold, the silver Maples are struck in fine silver with a purity of 99.99%. The concept of the one ounce bullion coin was to provide an easy way to purchase convenient small quantities of bullion silver in the form of coins.

Minty Coins

Minty coins are our hand-picked selection of orderable bullion coins that are in mint condition and usually, but not always, have been minted in recent years. Please note this is not a traditional grade.

Obverse

The obverse features a portrait of Elizabeth II and the legend ELIZABETH II 5 DOLLARS and the year date.

VAT:
Investment gold products are VAT-free, while silver products include VAT.
Cancellations & Returns:
Once you place an order, you cannot cancel it. We do not currently accept returns, however. You may be able to sell your investment products back to Chards at the current buy back rate.
