The 1990 Proof Set contains a wide range of coins from the one pound to the penny. In this set the new, smaller 5 pence will be issued to replace the exsisting one of that denomination which is also included.

Obverse

All coins in this set share the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by sculptor Raphael Maklouf.

Reverse

One Pound - A leek eradicated enfiling the Royal Diadem.

Fifty Pence - The seated figure of Britannia.

Twenty Pence - The Badge of England, the royally crowned double-rose.

Ten Pence - Crest of England- a lion passant guardant royally crowned.

Five Pence - Badge of Scotland, a thistle royally crowned.

Two Pence - Badge of Prince of Wales.

Penny - A portcullis with chains royally crowned.

These may have minor scratches or edge knocks, but this does not affect their value. Any coin sold for a value less than a 180% intrinsic is considered a bullion coin.
VAT:
Investment gold products are VAT-free, while silver products include VAT.
Cancellations & Returns:
Once you place an order, you cannot cancel it. We do not currently accept returns, however. You may be able to sell your investment products back to Chards at the current buy back rate.
