In 1972, Jersey issued this stunning coin set to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the wedding of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip with this Silver Wedding coin set. Produced by The Royal Mint, the set contains 9 coins, 5 gold coins and 4 silver coins, struck to a Brilliant Uncirculated finish.
Countries all over the world issued coins and coin sets to celebrate the twenty-fifth wedding anniversary of Elizabeth II and Prince Philip in 1972. Jersey issued this stunning Silver Wedding Anniversary coin set in two finishes; proof and brilliant uncirculated. This was the first time that Jersey had issued gold coins.
Your coin set may be supplied in a square presentation box or a long rectangular presentation box. Both of which are original presentation boxes issued with the set.
Whilst coins issued in the Channel Islands are not legal tender in Great Britain, as a Crown Dependency of the United Kingdom they are exempt from Capital Gains Tax.
We discovered at stock-take that we have a fairly large number of these coins sets in stock. We have reduced the premiums for a limited period making this the ideal time to buy collectable coins with numismatic interest at a low premium for the price that you would pay for bullion. This offer is only available for a limited period and will be increased back to 20% when stock levels are lower.
