These 1881 Silver Victoria Gothic Indian 1 Rupee Restrike Coins have been graded as a PF-64 by the Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC).

This coin features the restrike incuse "C" mintmark which is located on the decorative figure at the bottom of the coin. The coins were minted at the Calcutta Mint in India.

This is the only proof restrike across the NGC and PCGS population, it is very rare to come across Rupee proof restrikes in this grade. The last recent sale in 2021 of a similar coin but dated 1884-C at Heritage auction fetch $5520, note that there were 3 coins in total of the 1884-C population.

Obverse

The obverse features the crowned head of Empress Victoria, designed by William Wyon. The portrait is also surrounded by the legend that reads:

Reverse

The reverse features the decorative wreath design, followed by the value and date surrounded by the wreath. Additionally, the reverse includes the inscription that reads as:
