Obverse

The obverse features lady liberty in a seated position, holding an olive branch in the left arm, sceptre in right arm and images in the background of wheat and a boat coming into a port. Above the design is thirteen stars and an inscription:

The reverse side of the coin features an eagle with its wings spread open, ready to fly, whilst standing on a shield with three arrows behind the shield and an olive branch in its talons. The coin also features an inscription at the bottom of the face value of 100 HUNDRED DOLLARS. Additionally, the inscription at the top of the coin reads as:
