“You are a den of vipers. I intend to rout you out and by the Eternal God I will rout you out. If the people only understood the rank injustice of our money and banking system, there would be a revolution before morning.”

Jackson made the speech to bankers attempting to renew the Second Bank of the US Charter. after becoming furious with the national bank, believing them to have too much power.

The reverse is inscribed with 'By Eternal God I Will Rout You Out' and 'Federal Reserve Act 1913', which was introduced by President Woodrow Wilson. The two statements operate on different ends of the banking system, but have joined together on this silver round.
