“I was seeking a special edition "sold out at The Mint" coin, that had been released a year earlier, and I located the coin as being available from Chards. I ordered & made payment immediately on the Saturday, receiving confirmation of order. The following Monday I received Sales receipt. On the Wednesday I received Notification of Despatch on Thursday (with tracking link). Good Friday & Easter Sunday, Bank Holiday Monday, all came & went. I now felt & imagined I was dealing with Gringotts Bank (Harry Potter fiction), such was my impatience & frustration. On Tuesday a special delivery parcel via Royal Mail arrived. The package was well wrapped, and the Special Edition Coin Package therein, was in Excellent & Perfect Condition. “I placed my first order recently as I usually use the Royal Mint but thought Chards prices were very good. I was nearly put off by some of the poor reviews I had read regarding customer service, not being able to fulfil orders and showing items in stock that were not. I thought I would place a small order and see for myself. I was not disappointed at all. The items I ordered stated up to six weeks to be delivered and I received a telephone call just over three weeks later informing me they were able to be dispatched if it was convenient for me. Royal Mail delivered without fault and I have been happy with the entire transaction from start to completion. I will be using Chards again without any hesitation and I hope they continue with the excellent service.”
