“I have bought (and sold) through Chard a few times now and the experience has been prompt and efficient on all occasions. Knocked off 1 star because some of the half-sovereigns I purchased had slipped out of their blister packaging and become coated with the surrounding adhesive so I had to cut them out and gingerly clean the contaminant off as best I could; probably the fault of the packing method at the Royal Mint itself rather than Chard but I think this potential problem could have been identified before despatch from Chard.”

I have just joined Chards; as a new customer and found the lady I spoke too regarding the coin I purchased most helpful, conversely I found my banking staff less than helpful in releasing MY MONEY, too Chards. They eventually managed it, but I am less than impressed with banks these days. I have no hesitation in purchasing many more coins as I trust this company. A reputation can take decades or centuries to build, and minutes too destroy, Chards I believe has one of the best.
