The Queen's Beasts are a series of ten statues that were created for Elizabeth II's coronation at Westmnister Abbey in 1953. They combine heraldic elements and mythical creatures which form a part of the Queen's royal ancestry. The Royal Mint launched their Queen's Beasts bullion range in 2016. The unicorn coins are the fourth in the series. The first coin featured a lion. Both the obverse and reverse of the coins were designed by Royal Mint engraver, Jody Clark. The coins have a face value of £100.

The fifth coinage portrait of Elizabeth II features on the obverse of the coin, designed by Jody Clark. The portrait is set against a guilloche backfround in the field. The reverse bears the inscription ELIZABETH II·D·G·REG·F·D·100 POUNDS·
Designed by Jody Clark, the reverse features a tethered unicorn holding the Royal Coat of Scotland shield set against a chain mail background. The unicorn is the heraldic symbol of Alexander III and is a mythical creature, which is has been the inspiration of many tales for centuries. The coin bears the inscription UNICORN OF SCOTLAND 1oz ·FINE GOLD·999.9·2018 with the engraver's initials, JC below the design.

International - Royal Mail International Signed / Royal Mail International Tracked / Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed For. Items sent via this method will normally arrive between 3-7 working days. Delivery starts from £15.
Orders under £60
Within the UK and BFPO - Royal Mail 2nd Class. Your order will normally arrive within 2-3 working days. Delivery starts from £3.50.
International - Royal Mail International Standard. Your order will normally arrive between 3-7 working days. Delivery starts from £6.

Orders < £1000 there is no additional fee
Orders > £1000 we charge a fee in order to cover the increasing costs of insurance. For every £1000 we apply a £1 fee.
