The Royal Mint continue their Queen's Beasts series with a new range of £5 coins. These coins are struck in brilliant uncirculated condition and come in a presentation folder.
Please note: These coins come in presentation cards but do not have any outer plastic packaging.
The first coins in the series are the Lion of England and the Unicorn of Scotland.
The series will feature 10 coins, which will be released up until 2020.
The Queen's Beast series of coins by The Royal Mint is based upon the ten Queen's Beast statues which were created for Queen Elizabeth II's coronation at Westminster Abbey in 1953 by James Woodford RA. Each beast represented the Queen's ancestry and combines mythical beasts and heraldry. These coins are British legal tender although they will not enter into circulation.
The obverse design shows the fifth coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, by Jody Clark.
On the reverse of the coin is the Lion of England. This was designed by Jody Clark and is based on the Queen's Beasts statue, by James Woodford RA.

Bullion coins are provided as is and on occasion may have some minor scratches or edge knocks. These are not regarded as faulty or damaged goods as their gold content and value as a bullion coin is not affected. Any coin sold for a value less than a 180% intrinsic is considered a bullion coin.
Gold investment products are VAT free. Silver investment products are inclusive of VAT at the current rate unless otherwise stated.
All investment products are based on the live precious metal price. Prices will be fixed once the item has been added to the basket and recalculates just before checking out.
If your product is not a graded coin and is considered a bullion item it should be noted that these are bought and sold on low premiums over their precious metal content and not solely for aesthetic purposes, therefore some products may have edge knocks and/or marks. These edge knocks and marks do not alter the specifications of the coins.
