“ I asked for an email to select my own delivery date to ensure it was convenient as there was a banner saying delivery times would be delayed. It would also allow me flexibility to change it if I wanted to add anything to the order potentially. When I did add another item to the order to save on delivery there wasn’t a box I could write in to add comments to link this order when selecting collection. The only way around this was to select delivery and have another delivery charge added. I paid bank transfer less this amount and left comments to let them know - they amended the invoice but it’s the uncertainty this causes (and also had I paid by card, I would’ve had to pay this then be refunded). This is the reason for the 1 star deduction as I feel they could make the experience better by rectifying this aspect. All in all a good experience and the little sweet was devoured straight away! ”

“I sold and bought items. As the website warned that there could be a few days delay in replying to my sent message I was not concerned that it took four days to receive a reply. Subsequently I received quick replies from my initial contact and she answered my questions concisely and clearly. Collection and delivery arranged and went very smoothly; the price offered to me was consistent with the price displayed on their web page. Buying items was equally smooth, they took a week to arrive. The ‘minty’ coins were excellent and all of the same type and year. I also bought a Victorian sovereign which I am very pleased with. Having compared different websites, I have not found a more reasonable pricing for selling and buying than Chards”

“I was looking to sell some coins and searching through the internet I came across Chards. I then made an appointment as they seemed to offer the most reasonable and fair prices. When I attended the meeting I met with Derek, he appraised my coins with no obligation to sell, very polite and professional and gave me a very good price on my goods. I accepted my quote and was given a receipt for same, Derek said payment would take 48 hours by bank transfer but the money was actually in my bank the following day. I have to say I would recommend Chards coin and bullion dealers to anyone wishing to buy or sell. First class service.”
