“Have been using Chard’s services for some time and they have invested and substantially improved the services for disposal of stored metal. The previous system delays due to number of enquiries being dealt with resulted in substantial delays. I can now register a sell request online and price is fixed at that point which is considerably more convenient with verification emails corroborating transactions.”

“After contacting Chards and arranging to send them a gold coin and, as per usual, get an offer for it when they received it, I sent it using Royal Mail special delivery and saw that it was received and signed for at around 10.50 the next morning, I waited for a ‘phone call but did not receive one that day. I waited until the next morning before emailing them to ask what was happening and they said that the paperwork had been separated from the coin, they asked me to describe the coin, which I did and I received a good offer for it later that day. It is a bit disconcerting that such a thing could happen, hence only four stars. The plus side was that the spot price had increased over the 24 plus hours of confusion so I received more for it because of this.”
