Gold Eagles

The modern Eagle is the official bullion coin of the US Mint. Demand is high in the United States of America for both the gold and silver investment coins.

Obverse

The obverse shows a depiction of Lady Liberty by the renowned American sculptor, Augustus Saint-Gauden. The design shows Liberty holding a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left. You can see the initials of the engraver, ASG, in raised letters located below the year date, to the right of the figure.

Reverse

The reverse side displays a contemporary depiction featuring a detailed view of a bald eagle's head. It was designed by Jennie Norris and sculpted by Renata Gordon.

These may have minor scratches or edge knocks, but this does not affect their value. Any coin sold for a value less than a 180% intrinsic is considered a bullion coin.
VAT:
Investment gold products are VAT-free, while silver products include VAT.
Cancellations & Returns:
Once you place an order, you cannot cancel it. We do not currently accept returns, however. You may be able to sell your investment products back to Chards at the current buy back rate.
