Chards Harrowside Premises

Customer Service Advisor

Type:

6 month temporary position with the option to become permanent for the right applicant.

Full Time 40 hours per week. 8.30am-5pm Weekdays and the first Saturday of each month.

We may consider part time roles for the right applicant(s).

Hourly Rate:

Starting £8.30, will increase depending on knowledge and performance. 

Holidays

28 days (inc. Bank Holidays)

Reports to:

Operations Manager

Summary

To provide an efficient and reliable service to customers whilst complying with current legislation and business procedures. The role also includes communicating via phone, email and face to face ensuring that all administrative duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

Ideal Candidate

  • Have A-C GSCE in English and Maths or equivalent.
  • Thrive from being in a varied job
  • Enjoy building good rapport with customers
  • Be a quick learner
  • Enjoy responsibility for their own tasks
  • Be able to show good use of English grammar
  • Have a confident and friendly manner
  • Be able to work under pressure when needed

Packer & Warehouse Operative

Type:

6 month temporary position with the option to become permanent for the right applicant.

Full Time 30 hours per week. 8.30am-2:30pm Weekdays and the first Saturday of each month.

Will extend to 8:30-5:00pm for the right applicant.

Hourly Rate:

 £8.30

28 days (inc. Bank Holidays)

Reports to:

Purchasing and Warehouse Manager

Summary

To pack both heavy and light parcels, following the company quality procedure and legal requirements for domestic and international delivery. Assist the warehousing team in stock taking, BIN locating and data entry. 

Ideal Candidate

  • Honesty, trustworthiness and a conscientious person 
  • Physically fit
  • Passion, dedication and drive as a team player - a "Can-do" attitude is essential 
  • Comfortable learning new software under supervision 
  • Computer skills 
  • Good organisation skills and great attention to detail 
  • Good timekeeper 
  • Flexible with working hours due to changes of business levels each day
