As British legal tender, Britannias are CGT Free. These British gold coins are struck in 24 carat gold, 0.9999 fineness and are sold as an investment product. The new modernised reverse design by Philip Nathan will appeal to coin collectors. The reverse displays an updated design of the classic, standing Britannia in front of a radiant sun. Jody Clark's fifth definitive coin portrait of Queen Elizabeth II features on the obverse. The uncirculated Britannia is a gold bullion coin and the coins are sent to us in tubes of 10 one ounce gold coins.
The Britannia gold coin contains one troy ounce of gold and is a favourite with investors who are looking to buy gold bullion with low premiums that is Capital Gains Tax free. You do not pay VAT on investment gold.

Please note that all investment products are exempt from the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and therefore customers do not have the right to cancel their order once the order has been accepted. Within the UK and BFPO - Royal Mail Special Delivery. Items sent via this method will normally arrive by 1pm the next working day. Delivery starts from £9.
International - Royal Mail International Signed / Royal Mail International Tracked / Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed For. Items sent via this method will normally arrive between 3-7 working days. Delivery starts from £15.
Orders under £60
Within the UK and BFPO - Royal Mail 2nd Class. Your order will normally arrive within 2-3 working days. Delivery starts from £3.50.
International - Royal Mail International Standard. Your order will normally arrive between 3-7 working days. Delivery starts from £6.

Orders < £1000 there is no additional fee
Orders > £1000 we charge a fee in order to cover the increasing costs of insurance. For every £1000 we apply a £1 fee.
